The Coquina Pointe neighborhood in Barefoot Resort was developed by Centex in 2005. At the time, they were top-of-the-line in upgrades, although not as large as some of the Barefoot communities. Most homes are ranch-style 2 and 3 bedrooms with extras such as crown molding, granite countertops, hardwood laminate and tile flooring, screened porches, and 2-car garages. Most have also had HVAC replacement and other updates since being built.
Having been established for some years, the yards and trees are mature and most building finished, with the exception of an occasional home being built new. Yards and streets are landscaped and quite attractive, inviting residents to come outside and enjoy nature, especially a large private pond in view of most homes.
Prices for these nice traditional homes with their picket fences range from the mid $200,000's to the low $300,000's, with several different floorplans originally made available. Residents have use of the Barefoot Residence Clubhouse with pool, tennis courts, fitness center, and much more. Summer months include a shuttle service to the private beach and cabana as well.
